His love for knowledge and exploration made books like "The Boxcar Children" come alive for him, and after spending years studying computer coding, cheese making, brick laying, blacksmith, tree harvesting, hydroponics, and so much more, he decided he'd also create a Boxcar Children inspired series for his own children. In 2019, he had an opportunity to move his family to 3 acres in Central Texas, where he started homesteading and homeschooling. Quickly, the family ran out of space and wanted to move to more land, with East Texas offering this opportunity... Brian originally used ChatGPT to create bedtime stories about his kids, and being inspired by his daughter's reactions to those stories, he started writing (without the help of ChatGPT) and it grew into a book series that will be keepsakes for the family for years to come. With a goal of writing more books each year, the Combs' kids will have wonderful keepsakes to look back on. I hope the memories they make growing up homesteading are as heartwarming and memorable as the memories we have of them everyday.
